Our Legislative Director, Tom Frtiz, joined industry leaders, buyers, suppliers, and advocates to meet directly with lawmakers on issues shaping the future of business travel. Representatives from all local chapters held meetings we government leaders to highlight the economic importance of business travel. 

Advocacy centered on four key issues, with two gaining strong bipartisan momentum and broad support given their practical, common-sense impact. I've included links to the issue briefs below.

*       Maintaining pay for TSA agents and Air Traffic Controllers during government shutdowns
*       Closing loopholes to restrict in-flight voice and FaceTime calls to preserve the traveler experience
*       Expanding Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) funding and tax credits
*       Clarifying Visa Integrity Fee guidance to support inbound business travel

They emphasized the significant economic impact of business travel and, even more importantly, the impact that even a 1% decline in business travel would have on our economy.
