Travel Program Sustainability

Come learn how to shape your travel program to include the three prongs of corporate social responsibility; traveler well being, social responsibility and environmental sustainability. In our session we'll discuss key social, economic and environmental factors, including the carbon cycle, relevant to a managed travel program. Take-a-ways include a case study, and suggested framework to start your program.

Eve White, HRG, Vice President, Global Markets

Eve began her travel career a visa agent at the French Consulate which led to an opportunity as a bilingual reservations agent at Northwest Airlines (NWA).

Eve spent the next five years at NWA, beginning in reservations and continuing with positions of successive responsibility with sales positions in Cleveland, Ohio and Portland, Oregon. Following her time at NWA, Eve joined USTravel as a Sales Manager, which became BTI Americas in 1993 and later WorldTravel BTI, then BCD.  Eve assumed positions of successive responsibility in the sales organization including management of Pacific Northwest Sales, nationwide mid-market sales, Southern California sales and Global sales. As the company changed, Eve grew with it to the position as Vice President of Multinational Sales at BCD, moving in 2006 to HRG in her current role.

Eve is past president of the Los Angeles Business Travel Association;; she is an active member of four BTA Chapters as well as the national organization; GBTA, where she sits on the Sustainability Committee and the Convention Program Peer Review Committee; and has completed the GBTA Global Leadership Program.   She is also an active member and Foundation Committee Member of the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE).
