Speaker: Ed O'Connor

Ed O'Connor, Vice President of Management Alternatives, Inc. (www.mgmtalternatives.com) specializes in travel procurement analysis, business travel operations, corporate payment systems and vendor negotiations.

Ed has over thirty years of experience as a travel industry executive and has held key positions with American Express, Carlson WagonLit, and two major airlines.  He has worked with such clients as Comcast, Dolby Labs, Experian, Fox Studios, Habitat for Humanity, Paramount Pictures, Time Mirror, and UCLA.

Ed is also a part-time member of the Pepperdine University faculty and a Certified Travel Counselor (CTC).  He earned his marketing degree from Rutgers University and an MBA from Pepperdine University. 

What is the Future of Managed Corporate Travel Programs?

-        A review of the latest industry projections – air and hotel;

-        A look at today’s corporate program and a review of the changing structures that currently support these travel programs;

-        An open and Interactive discussion on travel industry issues that may shape future corporate travel management such as:

  • Does/will social media matter to managed travel programs?
