Speaker: Robert Rauch

From Good to Great in San Diego's Hospitality Industry

Mr. Rauch serves as President of R. A. Rauch & Associates, Inc., His education qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration from Western International University and a master’s degree in Tourism Administration from Arizona State University. Rauch is a founding member and sits on the board of directors of the San Diego Tourism Marketing District. He has served as Chairman or President of several tourism organizations nationally and regionally in the west.

Rauch’s consulting practice includes every facet of the hospitality industry. He teaches an entrepreneurship class at Arizona State University’s Resort Leadership program, has been awarded Developer of the Year by Hilton in 2008, Family Owned Business of the Year by the San Diego Business Journal in 2009, San Diego Metro’s Men Who Make an Impact in 2012 and San Diego Daily Transcript’s Top Influentials in 2013. He is often quoted by the media on tourism industry issues, publishes Hospitality Innsights on the web at www.hotelguru.com and is a regular speaker at hotel industry conferences.
